Private ski lessons can be expensive and so can group skiing lessons at ski school...
... so here are the ski basics so you can learn to ski for free (or at least the ski theory) before you learn to ski with a ski instructor on your ski vacation in the ski resort.
NB these skiing lessons will explain basic ski technique but how and where you attempt them (from snow plough turns, through traversing across the fall line, to parrallel turns and jump turns) is entirely up to you the skier. Like all mountain sports, skiing can be dangerous and is best undertaken with a qualified ski coach or on a supervised beginner ski holiday such as a beginner ski weekend.
All that said, skiing is great fun and literally everyone can learn how with patience and the right guidance, so start the (mental at least) ski learning process here at 12ski !
